The Sunnyboys at the Opera House

On Sunday June the 2nd 2013, the Sunnyboys performed at the Sydney Opera House in the Concert Hall for the Vivid Festival. Just before the band took the stage the above short film intro was screened. It was an unforgettable moment!

The piece was conceived by Tim Pittman & Peter Oxley, the soundtrack was performed by Alister Spence, live footage from Bombay Rock 1981 (Nightmoves), performance video Happy Man (1981), stills from Catherine Croll and Bob King, surfing footage filmed by Dick Perry, city archive Geoff Cowan, Sunnyman animation by Liz Croll and the voiceover was Jeremy Oxley (taken from 1981 Triple J interview). The clip was edited together by Kaye Harrison.
