Following her graduation from Alexander Mackie CAE with a Degree in Fine Art, Catherine pursued her passion for photography while traveling across America, England and Europe documenting the performances of: The Ramones, Graham Parker, The Go Go’s, Rubber City Rebels, Iggy Pop, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Jackson, Madness, Sports, The Troggs, Lena Lovich, Blondie, Mental as Anything and The New York Dolls.
Catherine has documented the performances of many Australian bands including: The Black Sorrows, Captain Matchbox, Sports, The Birtday Party, The Laughing Clowns, The Saints, The Sunnyboys, The Shy Imposters, The Flaming Hands, Radio Birdman, The Visitors, The Hitmen, The Otherside, Surfside 6, The Reels, Subversion, The Scientists, Coupe de Ville, INXS, The Teeny Weenys, X, Filth, The Lipstick Killers, The Hoodoo Guru’s, The Sparklers and Billy Field!
Catherine’s photographs have been published in a number of international music magazines and in Australia in: RAM magazine, Roadrunner, Australian Record Buyers Guide and Rolling Stone Magazine.
She has also been employed to take studio and session photographs for the Go Go’s (LA), The Plimsoles (LA) The Rattlers (NYC), Graham Parker and the Rumor (London), Nick Lowe and Dave Edmunds (London), The Cure (London), The Shy Imposters (NSW), The Passengers (NSW), The Saints (AUS) and The Sunnyboys (NSW).
